Pearlene Haralson

February 10, 1936 — February 12, 2026

Pearlene Haralson often referred to as “Pearl” was born February 10th 1936 to the union of John and Lula Heard in Bentonia Mississippi, where she accepted Christ at an early age and also received some of her education.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Haralson, whom she married in 1955. Together, they raised six beautiful children: Robert Jr., Anthony, Melvin, Yvette, Yolanda, and David. Pearlene adored her family and took great pride in being a loving mother and grandmother.

In her professional life, Pearlene was a very hard worker. She worked at Sweetheart Cup Company where she retired after 10 plus years. She later worked for the Board of Education and dedicated many years before she retired, leaving a lasting impact on the community. And just when you thought she was finished she started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant until she couldn’t. 

Pearlene is survived by: Her daughter, Yolanda; her fifteen grandchildren, Curtis, Joshua, William, Wesley, Ebony, Ladonna, Carolyn (Edward), Savanna, Angel, Steve, Davora, David (Louise), Jordan, Cordavia and Corey; and a host of great and great great grandchildren. She also leave behind: his three sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. 

She was welcomed in heaven just 2 days after her 90th birthday by her husband, five children and great granddaughter Sabrina with open arms.

Pearlene will be remembered for her kindness, her infectious laugh, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
