Today, we gather to celebrate the life and legacy of Natasha Izetta Roberts, who was born on August 28,1963, to Athrida Robinson-Scott and the late James Roberts.
Affectionately known as “Nay”, Natasha was educated in the Chicago Public School system. She was an unforgettable woman whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. Nay found joy in singing, dancing, and spending time at family gatherings, where her presence could always be felt and her laughter always heard.
Nay made her peaceful transition on January 26, 2026. She is preceded in death by: her son, Trayvon Roberts; two brothers, Val Roberts and Earl Frazier; nephew, Frank Roberts; paternal grandmother, QT Roberts; and maternal grandmother, Estella Pauley-Robinson.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories: her mother, Athrida Robinson-Scott; three daughters, Diamond Roberts, Summer Williams, and Jazz Roberts; Six grandchildren, Chare’on, Canme’on, Camare’on, Ja’kor, Ja’kai, and Jazmir; two sisters, Rhonda Roberts-Pierce (Calvin) and Sheila Johnson; two brothers, Patrick Whitfield and Shawn Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends whose lives she touched in countless ways.
