Jonathan Mallett

November 19, 1982 — October 5, 2025

Jonathan Mallett

Jonathan Mallett was born into this world on November 19, 1982 to the proud parents of Delores Sloan and Curtis Hall.

Jonathan accepted Christ at an early age and was a very loving soul.

Jonathan attended Faraday Elementary School and later graduated from Orr High School. He worked at Barton Staffing.

Jonathan loved music, playing cards, watching WWE, sleeping and spending time with his family. Jonathan grew a great talent for doing dreads and other different hairstyles.

Jonathan was very family oriented and was a loving dad, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and a true friend. To know him was to love him, he was everybody’s favorite.

Jonathan is preceded in death by: His grandfathers, Cornelius Mallett and Joseph Hall; grandmother, Mary Mallett; stepfather, Edward Sloan; aunties, Hesterine Guyton, Yvonne, Mary and Queen Mallett; niece, Andriana Mallett; uncles, Charlie Mallett, Joseph Hall Jr. and Antione Hall; and cousins, Cornelia Mallett, Robert Mallett, Tenisha Mallett, Tyrone Mallet, Alonzo Mallett Jr., Shanta Mallett, Yvonnie Mallett, Garrell Hall, Alonzo Mallett (A3) and Octavias Mallett.

Jonathan left behind: Two loving children, Jonathan Mallett Jr. and Ashia Mallett; two sisters, Mary and Marie Mallett; two brothers, Michael and Curtis Mallett; ten nieces and eight nephews; fourteen Mallett sisters and brothers; his special dog, Milo; special Godson, Rekeif Smith (RJ); and one Goddaughter, Applaus Mallett

Jonathan touched all of our lives in so many ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life. His life seems short to many people but those who were touched, by his kindness and playfulness, know that the meaningfulness of his existence far exceeds the length of time he lived. His soul will rest on through all of his family, children and friends. Jonathan received his white beautiful wings.
