John Harold Moody

John Harold Moody was born on February 27, 1948 in Germantown, Tennessee. He was born to Nancy Moody and Fred Moody, who both preceded him in death.

John was a hardworking man with a remarkable talent for building and repairing anything he set his hand to. He spent many years as a skilled carpenter and construction worker, dedicating himself fully to his craft. After retiring from construction, John continued to serve others by transporting and assisting elderly members of his community. It was a role he cherished and that he took great pride in doing.

A special acknowledgement is given to Janice, his devoted sister and caretaker, along with his nieces Jamicia and Lesly. Their unwavering love and compassion kept him going. They cared for John with remarkable patience and strength.

John leaves to cherish his memories: His son, Erik Astradus (Pamela); his grand-children, Erik Astradus II and Denisha; brothers, Ricky (Tina), Fred (Ann), James Jerry, Michael (Denise) and Bobby; seven sisters, Pearl, Louise, Beverly, Mary, Janice, Elaine and Pauline; and a host of relatives and friends.
