Jack Aldridge

Jack Aldridge was born on December 29, 1958 in Chicago, IL. He was born to Florida Mae Aldridge and JD Thomas. He was a member and attended New Deliverance COGIC Church for many years. 

Jack attended James Weldon Johnson Elementary through 5th grade, followed by Herzl for 6, 7 and 8th grade. He graduated Herzl, then went on to Crain High School. He worked for the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation for several years. 

Jack was called home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He touched many lives, such as his son, nieces and nephews and most of all his sister and brother. 

He is preceded in death by: His great grandparents, Sarah and Bill Harris; his aunt, Georgia Mae Harris; his nephew, Jermaine Hampton; and mother, Florida Mae Aldridge. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: His sisters, Shirley Hampton and Marion Blackmon; brother, Michael Aldridge; son, DuShawn Lowery (China); five nephews, Melvin Hampton, Andre Bonds, Breon Hampton, Jerry Hampton and Mikel Aldridge; and a host of nieces nephews, family and friends.
