On November 1, 1942, God blessed this world with a precious gift, Elzoria Bradley. She was affectionately know as “Mary.” Mary was born in Epes, Alabama to the late Cleophus & Hassie Hutchins.
Mary confessed her hope in Christ at an early age in Epes, AL. She completed high school in Alabama as well.
Mary was united in holy matrimony to McArthur Bradley on December 20, 1962 in Emelle, Alabama. Shortly thereafter, Mary and Mac moved to Chicago, IL. Upon moving to Chicago, Mary and Mac united the family with Christ Tabernacle M.B. Church, under the late Rev. Milton Brunson. Mary served faithfully on the Missionary Board. She later in life worshipped with Pastor Bibbs and family.
Mary was employed at Prevue Metal for over forty years, until she retired. She loved cooking and baking. She also loved working in her garden and planting flowers. Mary was truly a family person.
Mary is preceded in death by: Her husband, McArthur Bradley; her oldest daughter, Gloria Bradley; her baby daughter, Stephanie Bradley; her parents and her five brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories: A devoted son, Dewain; a loving daughter, Derra (Virgil); one brother, Macarther (Kitty) of Madison, WI; four sisters, Eloise of Epes, AL, Hassie (Cleatreas) of Atlanta, GA, Lorene (Steve) of Toledo, OH and Rhonda of Epes, AL; and a host of other family and friends.
