Mr. Cedric Louis Miles

Cedric Louis Miles was born June 11, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. To the union of Erma Jean Osborne (deceased) and David Louis Miles. He was the first child born to this union.

Cedric attended Mary Lion Elementary School on the North side of Chicago. Cedric continued his education at Austin High School, where he graduated with a high school diploma class of 72’.

In the 1970’s he worked at Austin Furniture Company on Cicero and Washington. He later went to Job Corp and he also attended the Navy.

Cedric also played baseball in Clark Park. He loved family gatherings. The sky turned gray, the storm clouds rolled in on his sunset, March 4, 2025. Waiting on the other side are: His beloved mother who took him by the hand, Erma Jean Osborne; his brothers, David, Kenneth and Kevin Osborne; uncles, Jerome Osborne, Joesph Osborne and Gerald Osborne; aunts, Barbara Blyden, Bessie Harris, Celestine Williams and Patricia Gunter; nephew, Jerome Osborne; grandparents, Leola and Joe Osborne.

Cedric leaves to cherish his loving memories: His sister, Cherida Osborne (Lewis Hall); four nephews, Kennedy Blocker Jr, Pretice Phillips, Tylus Turner and Kevin Osborne Jr.; three great nephews, Devon Osborne, Semaj Harkins and Jhaden Osborne; great-great-nephew, Devon Osborne Jr.; two nieces, Tyrita Osborne and Sherrianna Osborne; two great nieces, Amariona King and Zoey Phillips; great-great-niece, Ivory Osborne; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends whom truly loved him and will miss him dearly
