Carl Winston Binion

Carl Binion was born on June 9, 1975 to the union of Emma Jean Binion and Arturo Jeffries.

Carl joined New Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church at a young age.

Carl attended Spencer Elementary. He also attended Wilhelm K. Roentgen, then later obtained his General Education Diploma from West Side Learning Center.

He worked at Waste Management for some time.

Our Lord called Carl home to rest on August 8, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Carl is preceded in death by: His mom, Emma Binion; his dad, Arturo Jeffries; his grandparents, Charlie Binion Sr. and Annie Mae; his uncles, Charles, Bobby Joe (Earnstine) and Roy C. Mainor Sr. (Willie Mae Mainor); and seven aunties, Katherine, Earnstine, Rosemary, Katie, Pearlie, Corine and Fannie Lee.

Carl leaves to cherish: His sons, Carl Jr. and Cameron; six sisters, Bertha Gonzales (Jonathan), Termeka Binion, Shrita Love, Bonita Love, LaTanya Russell (Dad) and Erica Russell (Dad); two brothers, Richard Binion and Brandon Love; an auntie, Willie Mae Mainor, who was like a second mom; his uncle, whom he was named after, Carl Winston Binion (Jean); a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and close cousins; and his friends from off Washington & Karlov who were like family to him.
